Bio //
Bobby Locke, a London-based British composer and pianist, draws inspiration from the works of Max Richter and Philip Glass to craft his own minimalist and cinematic sound.
Bobby aims for each composition to tell its own story through simplicity and balance, with the piano serving as the focal point from which his ideas grow.
Bobby is member of BAFTA Connect and, in 2023, completed work on his first feature film, "Baby Brother”, directed by Michael J. Long. The film's score, available on Spotify, has been streamed over 20,000 times. Throughout his career, he has also worked on numerous short films, with projects receiving screenings at film festivals worldwide, including the BFI Future Film Festival and British Urban Film Festival.
Currently, Bobby is an associate artist with the Lazarus Theatre Company, where he has composed scores for multiple productions, including "The Caucasian Chalk Circle" and a musical adaptation of "The Beggar's Opera."
Bobby’s work has been featured on BBC Radio, at the BFI, and in various theatres, including the Southwark Playhouse and Greenwich Theatre.
